One of my coworkers had a great quote today. She probably didn't even realize it but it really stuck out to me, since I am just out of college and so on. We were talking about her former job as V.P. of a bank and why she left. Her reason?
"I decided I wanted a job, not a career."
Pretty ironic considering most people these days are the other way around, or at least attempting to get to that point. I know I am, but maybe I'll reach the same conclusion one day?
