iPhone on the Academy Awards
The academy awards are on. I walked away to read some more feeds. She just yelled over to me that there was a commercial for the iPhone.

Is there a Long Tail for Services?
I'm in the middle of reading Chris Anderson's The Long Tail. An excellent book. As a professional in a service industry I had a thought. How does the concept of The Long Tail apply to services?
Services don't have any physical inventory. They don't have any kind of limit on how much they can sell (in theory), although they do have a limited amount of time and resources, depending on their size. Although if you consider Google as a service, which it is, you could argue they have almost unlimited resources with their massive data centers.

I am...Procrastinating
The popular blog that is all about blogging, Performancing, has a great post for people if you are new to blogging. I am not all that new to blogging, but I am still very much an amateur.
However, I often fall prey to their first bit of advice (procrastination), as can be evidenced by the last time this blog was updated (a week ago today). Please encourage me to be more proactive on this here blog. As much as I know my fears have no merit, they are still quite real.

The Web is Like
A great video about how the web connects information, people, and how it will continue to change our lives. It certainly has changed mine in the last year or so. But I still need to learn HTML.
Thanks Marshall.
